Terms of Service

SSAVEX is a free web tool that helps you download videos and images from public posts on X. It works from the post URL alone: add “ssave” before x.com (or paste a link), and the service fetches the public media for that post and transfers it to you. SSAVEX is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp. or the X platform.

Media on X belongs to the people who made it. Saving a public file for personal use is generally your call; redistributing it, republishing it, monetizing it or using it beyond what copyright law and the platform's terms allow is not something SSAVEX grants you any right to do. You alone are responsible for how you use files you download through the service.

You also agree not to abuse the service: no automated bulk downloading, no attempts to bypass rate limits, no probing for private or deleted content, and no use of the service to infringe anyone's rights. The service only exposes what the platform makes public, and it stays that way.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Availability, speed and the set of working features depend on factors outside its control — most importantly the platform's public interfaces, which can change or degrade at any time without notice. There is no guarantee that any particular post, media file or quality will remain downloadable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSAVEX and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service — including indirect or consequential damages, or losses resulting from files you download or fail to download. The service does something small and does it carefully, but you use it at your own risk.

These terms and the service itself may change over time. The current version of the terms is always this page. The service may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time, and access may be limited or withdrawn for conduct that violates these terms or attempts to harm the service.
